I have a fun fact about the XXL2 Remaster. Before the remake was released, I actually got to try it at the Paris Games Week. There was a booth, and we could play the demo, and the game was supposed to release a few months later. The guy at the booth saw me coming, and you could tell he thought, ‘Here’s another newcomer who doesn’t know the game and is about to discover it.’ LOOOOOOOOL :KEKW: , I’d been playing that game for years and beaten it hundreds of times! The guy's face was priceless when he saw me speedrunning through the game. :KEKW: :KEKW: And during my playthrough, I stumbled upon some bugs, and there’s one that’s particularly interesting: this house. While testing the beta, I was able to go inside it, which normally isn’t possible because there’s no ground underneath. I looked at the guy like, ‘What’s this?’ and he had a huge drop of sweat on his forehead 😂 ; it was hilarious. In the final version, they patched that house, but now I’m wondering if they were planning to add some things there. 🤔

It could be that some enemies spawn there and they forgot to put an invisible wall for the player?

In XXL2 there are many places where you can walk because enemies spawn there and they need the collision to work, but usually an Invisible blocks the player from reaching the location

Well the thing is that there is no ground or marker inside in the final version.

But there aren't any on the basic version either, I checked with the editor, that's why it's super weird that he modified the collisions. 😂

in xxl2 enemies would always spawn either in buildings and pretend like they came out of there or jump out of balcony

considering the fact that they ported as well xxl i believe they did some changes on their side which maybe resulted in this weird issue

But that means that during development they didn't use basic collisions, that doesn't make sense.

its development process things may change besides i think they ported xxl2 on their shitty osome engine which i am pretty sure used its own ways of working with things
