That game has tons of other problems
I already managed to port levels from Remaster to Original, so the other way round might be possible, but more difficult since the paths to the Cooking folder would have to be brought back, which the original didin't have.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like Microid didn't credit Étranges Libellules in XXL romaster.

The textures, the 3D models, the music are good.
For me the remake is a success (I've been waiting for the XXL series on switch for so long, I can't complain XD)
