When they announced Asterix Heroes, I thought of a fighting game or at least superheroes, but not that ...
I'm actually more curious about it than StA2.
I remember they literally said in the early announcement it's a card game. I didn't really expect anything as I'm not familiar with the genre.
@soraaruzaky @martyste Some of you guys need to change manually few discord links in specific games, on the main speedruning Asterix site there is a new link to our community, but some individual titles didn't have any link or have old expired links to the XXL Arena which was deleted some time ago
Maybe it's a good idea to add new non expiring link to exact asterix games, which doesn't have them, and change **xxl 2 hd** and **xxl 3** links to the new one

Asterix XXL's 20th anniversary approaches, on the next November 21st.... i had an idea for some art to celebrate but i'm not sure if i'd have enough time to do it >3<
I picture this: KAL engine protagonists sitting on the beach of Greece sector 1, seen from their back, looking at the sunset.
i could but it would take me like 50 hours to draw it
especially since i use a mouse and not a pen lmao
i got a tablet, i could do something cool...
Characters would be:
Asterix with his hand at his forehead looking at the horizon, wearing his roman suit
Obelix sleeping with a helmet pile on his belly, wearing his swimsuit
-> Reflects the available costume for them up to reaching Greece
Sam Shieffer ( suspended on his rope ) and Lovestorix are also present to represent each sequel.
Spyro and Cynder in their completed armor sets, holding claws, sat in their own corner of the image as the cast gives them space
Arthur and his trio, somewhere, i haven't figured out yet. Same goes for Alice's trio.
Hiccup and Toothless, lighting the campfire.
Lastly, Dogmatix is seen chasing Sparx.
Whaddya think? this would prooobably be a 32:9 ratio image given there's many characters and there's cool potential for a 2 monitor background.
Maybe if i want to keep the Minimoys down to their cannonical size, i could have them riding Sparx given they're able to ride insects in their world.
Thats a lot of stuff to cook up
