I had encounters with 2 people like that. They're even talked about on Reddit, this is how bad it is. I heard that even if you do receive art from them, it's low quality / stolen / AI generated
Also, from my experience, artists NEVER barge into other people's Discord DMs to beg them to buy stuff from them, they run their own pages on DeviantArt / FurAffinity / Instagram / Tumblr / etc.
I spelled DA wrong at first, and when I right-clicked to see corrected word, it showed "devastating" IIRC. With how DA has been developing since mid 2010's, it's kinda fitting.
