Hi everyone, just wanted to say thanks to the community xD I'm a casual player. Xxl is the game of my childhood and I wanted to play it on a modern pc. The game ran at around 35 fps which felt kinda painful to play. Using the cheat tool is the only way I managed to get higher fps (about 66 which feels much better). Neat tool
62-63 is the game's natural fps cap
there's a little oversight preventing from actually reaching its intended cap of 66
imo the microids remakes suck
you have to patch them with mods to make them run smoothly and the high poly models for asterix & obelix just look kind of "off"
i think that's pretty agreed on with anyone who's played the originals though
