Is the "spamming" method better than slow walking ? Is it more consistent ? Also that's weird how on your game Asterix on the shield doesn't trigger the cutscene and mine even one step after it triggers it

It is more consistent in that: 1. Spamming is easier than slow walking (for me) 2. Obelix doesn't move as fast (you have more space)
