Because it's not worth, we have now microids which bought the rights to their old games and asterix isnt that much popular, only in France and in few other Europe countries
How about a cel shaded asterix game that is open world
Rescpeting the original comics
And being way more faithful to the 60s comics
ELB went bankrupt in 2012, but IDK how their Asterix devs feel about what OSome did to their games, or what new Asterix games came out

I hate to say this, but I feel that XXXL is the best Asterix game to come out recently
I consider xxl3 non canon to the asteri xxl timeline
To this day the title feels like false marketing. You can't just shove some dialogue references and expect now grown up fans of XXL/2/OG to like it
Would be Nice if they could make a sequel
If it didn't have a dumbass title, had more bugfixes and didn't cost more than it's worth...
