Can you beat the game on 100x100 resolution? :D
With 8bit color depth? XD
now now, the game may not be that old
I had updated the laptop's """GPU""" drivers, the Intel Mobile 4 Series Express Chipset Family ( yeah a mouthful ) from its stock 2009 driver to the latest one from 2012, and that allowed me some better control over the resolutions and whatnot. I could add 320x240 to the HDMI to SCART adapter, but that unfortunaly remains unsupported so no 240pCRT using a PC.
Unless modified to play in windowed mode, there's no 8-bit mode available for XXL.
Yea you'd have to modify it in windowed mode
Damn, that is too old for me to understand XD
My adapter to Scart supports 8-bit but XXL in fullscreen would automatically adjust to 16-bit.
the GPU has a long name, that's about it. It's an integrated laptop chipset that has awful performance. The Intel Celeron CPU is quite better.
Surely we can modify the game

The CPU is better at doing the graphics? Umm, 2009?
I keep my game vanilla on the 32-bit computer, it's not meant for that. And besides, i'm not always guaranteed to get tools and patches to work on 32-bit
Half-Life 1 on Software (aka CPU) runs fullspeed as I've just tested it.
It should be running as a 32-bit just fine, unless there is some unseen circumstances, like there always is on Windows
Damn XD the gpu is useless then
beyond useless, bottleneck
The GPU can do Minecraft 1.3.2 in 854x480, low render distance and fast graphics, at 30fps on average.
this is a real 10 year old screenshot that laptop took as proof.
