I thinking of other opportunities to keep fb without having to punch an extra enemy
failentin
Maybe because he killed the Roman in two punches? The first damage being from a spinning attack?
failentin
like maybe flybash only disappears when you kill a Roman with (at least) three punches
sypervenya
There are not many places we can flybash
sypervenya
Would be cool to skip windy cave by perfect jump or dash, but it seems impossible
sypervenya
Maybe there are something else with ph or extra new stuff
sypervenya
Fun fact - if you jump and use the torch at the same frame, Asterix will use the torch in the air
hesopesomeso
Yes, we know.
hesopesomeso
Yeah... I should investigate...
hesopesomeso
Interesting theory... I shall check once I get back home... The same thing happens in helvetia after rocketeers - if you have enough combo, you do not need to hit an enemy to keep flybash.
failentin
Oh so your theory is that punching last Roman above 1/3 of remaining combo might do it?
hesopesomeso
No, I think you need more. Usually the combo bar ends when the torch is out (in tunnel). More than 2/3 I'd say? Since there is only 3 states.
failentin
In Sypervenya's video last punch was below 2/3
hesopesomeso
Or the sam cinematic??
hesopesomeso
I see... hmmm...
hesopesomeso
Nevermind, the combo has ended earlier... wtf
hesopesomeso
Or maybe the switch?
failentin
you wouldn't have enough combo after rocketeers to reach the switch, right?
alatinn
In that case, I believe it's because of the loading zone. I think I experienced it in other locations. If your last move on an enemy was a punch (so no combo), if you enter a loading zone with some combo bar, you'll keep flybash. Don't know how accurate this is, but I feel like something like that's happening. Though, it doesn't apply in Syp's footage...
hesopesomeso
Yes, I was thinking the same, but Syper's footage disproves that.
