I think this is the most optimized setup before bridge skip:
1) Get into the cable car.
2) When you're pulling the cable car, a sound effect plays repeatedly, changing its pitch depending on your current speed. When this sound effect plays for the third time, just press the punch button four times while going forwards. That will get the cable car exactly to that point where the enemies spawn in Notre Dame (and not further, which saves a little time). Important is not to touch the stack of crates while pulling the cable, or you'll lose all momentum.
3) Push the stone, grab the tree shield, then jump into the trampoline hole.
4) While falling down, do a fire ground pound to kill Mario. Then collect the helmets as always. The respawning Mario will follow Obelix all the way up the bridge. Don't do a double-jump before ground-pounding, or else Asterix will leave the cable car early.
5) Jump from the bridge, collect the helmets and get the shield in the water. Then wait a little before switching, to give Asterix' AI time to move further up the bridge.
6) If you don't get the right combo, reset tip bonus by dashing down-left against the left railing of the bridge and simultaneously switching to Obelix.

To follow up on Heso's idea for the Larry skip, I found this setup which works quite reliably for me:
1) Get fire hands, leave Larry alive and wait for potion.
2) Go to the big wall and wait until Obelix is right behind you. You can stand where you like at the wall, **but not in the corners** or it won't work.
3) Then activate menhir rain **while dashing** against the wall. This makes sure that Asterix stays at ground level for a few seconds, which makes the next step easier.
4) While Asterix is preparing his ascent, jump on him once or twice as Obelix and try to push him into the wall that way.
5) Then let Obelix stand below the spot where Asterix takes to the sky. Face the camera, wait and press switch repeatedly while Asterix is falling down. Sometimes, Asterix will be behind the collision of the wall, sometimes inside of it.

And of course lots of prayge

This is really quite consistent for me, the only problem is that sometimes Asterix disappears the moment you activate menhir rain. All that remains of him until he falls down is his collision, which Obelix doesn't seem to move.

When you do this setup in one of the corners, Asterix will actually fall into the void and you can't switch to him.

You can genuinely go out of bounds?
failentin
sure, in many places!

It's like when one skip in Lutetia fails and Obelix teleports to some blurry green void?

If I remember correctly

yup

but I'll have to take a look at Asterix' coordinates to see where exactly he lands in this case
