On my PC, the trick works very well with a 70-80% success rate. However, I have the impression that success is linked to the orientation of my camera as soon as I enter the area. When I enter the area, I turn my camera to the left. I have also tested it on my laptop, and it works very well too. On the other hand, on the PCs I used for the speedrunning marathon, my success rate was much lower, around 20%. So, it might be a random trick idk?
Maybe it's also connected to the fps, could it be ? I remeber that my game few months ago worked on like over 100fps, rn i have like 60/70fps. I have no idea. I need to try your "setup" - i mean that turn of the camera while entering the sector.
Gimme a minute, i will test that and be back with answer if it helped huh
imo we should keep wnga for main category such as any% ! Don't need to ban it
With that turning to the left
let's try a bit fe more times
Wnga is fine, i mean early wnga (more inconsitent one)
I meant the early one haha
For me, as it's at the beginning, I think this is not a problem to keep it, even if the trick isn't easy or inconsistent
Let me compare it to a RNG run killer in other games, it's part of a game and it's also interesting (imo again haha)
And last thing, if the final decision is to ban early wnga, we can't leave runs on leaderboard that's using it. That's not fair according to my mind
I tried already 4 times with that rotation to the left, and it worked only once x)
It works for me, but it’s mostly muscle memory. When I think about how to do the skip, I often miss it. I remember I practiced early wnga for 4 hours straight to get it consistently.
Feels like muscle memory, but i don't think it is actually xd
Funny, game crashed after tp

still better than my odds to greece tardis
