The trigger box of the fight is around the druid, so we activate it after getting the lit torch to get a passive lock, which lets us skip all subsequent fights in Normandy.

The most plausible explanation to the skip (as of right now) is as follows:

We know that Light 51 contains the events responsible for activating the On-cross Rectangle that will activate the Vikings lock. However, while we are fairly certain the beacons activate the Light 51, we don't know yet exactly how in the code.

Maybe approaching any beacon works? Still, the druid would remain the closest one.

So this is why it's important that you jump to the side and avoid the invisible beacons on the floor. Maybe one day we'll advance further into the game's code and we'll know where and what event are triggered by beacons, and also how.

Hello all, Something "weird" happened in my today's session. With the strat you told me above, I managed to make the barrel explosed without fighting the vikings. But when I arrived on first catapult, it was "blocked", I had to do the fight and same for the fight after landing.

Probably you didnt go back to "touch" the druid after tnt explosion, so lock on the fireplace didn't activate, am i right :obelul:
