In romaster form what i remeber there are romans in this tunnel, usually what i do there, is forcing Asterix to grab one of them, and then im trying to dash with Obelix afap to the switch zone

and then you will play as asterix, so you can easily light up the torch again and enter library ~ if you opened the way to library with Obelix before dying ofc

and if I die, where should I get the passive lock?

it's not needed, since after doing library tardis, lock on the lever outside the library won't activate, so you can just open the way for Obelix. After leaving this section by going to catapult, you can't fall into the water anywhere. If you will relight the torch in the fireplace before library, it will bug, so the game will think that it still burns. Thanks to that you will be able to blow the last tnt leading to the boss arena. Don't worry about the passivelock, cause you will activate the lock on corkscrew which before was used to enter the lighthouse section, but now thanks to the torch bug, it's skipped entirely.
