my brain was too tired to tell if it was 30 or 60 tbh
It's impressive you made it to Greece, I usually give up after Gaul

that was like years ago when i got a key of the game for free in a giveaway or some shit x3
And well at least it's playable now...
IMAGINE if they add it one day to the GC catalog of the Switch 2 tho.
mvg confirmed that with backwards compatibility, none of the graphic settings ( resolution, frame cap, texture quality ) are changed from Switch 1 games running on Switch 2. However, games with GPU bottleneck will run considerably better, much less so for CPU bottlenecks.
Load times also see a frequent decrease on many many games
I'm really happy with how the XXL games run on Switch 2
they might be the best console version now
5 seconds to enter greece from a fresh boot, interesting... buuuuut, shader caching ( what i assume to be the cause of stutters ) return so these don't get stored each time
and yeah we're being given a fat 60fps
it's a bit unfortunate that not even 2D elements target 1080p tho.
these load times tho... i belive they're faster than my PC, somehow
maybe because the Switch version runs on lightweight assets?
let it be known that modern graphics here have a *worse resolution* texture for the elevator.
Hey, Im new to speedrunning and really love the game so Im trying to run it. Is there anybody who would be willing to help me out a little? Hard to follow some skips from videos without commentary. Currently stuck in the beginning of Helvetia and would be nice to have someone explain me what exactly I have to look out for. Also struggling with some of the box skips and not really sure which ones work in which version of the game...
Hey, if you just don't know something, you can aske here about anything.
Setups mostly depends on your screen resolution, as well as on retro / remaster mode
Except greece tardis, all other ones need to be done in remaster mode, to make them consistent
Right now I just cant figure out how to do the jump in the beginning of Helvetia, where you get the potion, get on the boxes and jump over the rocks. Or is that not how its done anymore?
