| Misty | One thing I have never understood: In the cover art, the manual and on the game CD, the subtitle "Mission: LasVegum" is included, while in-game this subtitle does not appear (Not even in the bonus trailer) |
| Misty | Also, now with the appearance of XXL Romastered, it surprises me that they did not add a subtitle "Remastered" or similar to XXL2R |
| Deleted User | So they just named it XXL 2? |
| Misty | In the original one only in-game, and the Remastered |
| Misty | Which also makes me a little angry that Microids didn't use "Mission: LasVegum" |
| Deleted User | Stupid move on their part |
| Misty | And now, it seems that the cover art of XXL Romastered will be a recreation of the original, why didn't they decide to do the same with XXL2R? |
| Misty | At least, the Amercian version of the cover art includes the LasVegum entry in the background |
| Misty | It's so strange that the original version didn't include the "Mission: LasVegum" subtitle in-game, but on the cover art, CD and Manual |
| Misty | And it's more strange, since the PSP Port INCLUDED THE "Mission: WiFix" SUBTITLE |
| Misty | |
| Misty | And this cover art |
| Martyste Tendertail | Wow |
| Martyste Tendertail | Never seen this cover art before... was it beta maybe? |
| Appleseal | That cover art actually looks more badass than the final one |
| Anonbelle | What are changes between Beta and final XXL2 versions? |
| Misty | The only differences that I know are this:
- The game was named "Astérix + Obélix Ultimate"
- The costumes of Astérix and Obélix were a little different (Astérix's glove was more bulky, Obélix's belt added some unnecesary details)
- Astérix had a "Punch Spin" Attack that only works when he uses the Magic Potion. It can also defeat an enemy by only a simple punch, like the original XXL |
| Panchito | i found that |
| Misty | Yep |
