i dont understand what you mean by 'mono sound', what is that about?
Me and my 20 fps minecraft in 2013:

make it mono to make sound uniform for both your speakers
It's just cubes with textures, what was in that copy that made it so bad?
ah, ok thats would also be interesting
It was 1.3.2 with low draw distance, but my first PC is just that bad lol. It does run XXL full speed tho, gotta avoid anti alias tho.
"It does run XXL full speed tho"
Bombs: allow us to introduce ourselves
as long as bombs don't get too close to screen.
You see, bombs would be fine if they didn't use transparency
I didn't really notice lag with explosions on this new PC though...
the more screen space gets covered by transparent polygons, the more computing power is required to calculate the colors of the pixels and causes minor lag to the GCN/PS2, but hardly in any PC, even old ones.
A good performance graphical option would be to change the explosion effect into something not using transparency, like shrinking decals, as seen in Zelda TWW
i seem to have fixed my audio stuttering issues
someone over in the lutris discord helped me
just to be clear, the stuttering i talked about really noticable already in the menu and in ingame soundtracks
did you also have that kind of stuttering or were you talking about different stuttering @Martyste Tendertail
ah fuck forgot to write it here, sry
its rather wine/lutris-specific, dont know how to replicate it in windows
