aww now you got me hooked. but i think i first wanna do a proper xxl2 playthrough first. played the remaster and really missed the flashy effects with firefists and so on ^^
also i gotta see how im gonna get a copy of xxl
Olympic Games ( aka the real xxl 3 for us ) has the best combat movement of all 3… but by far the shortest story and levels, graphics are pretty good but honestly there isn't much about it.

Yeah, XXL 2 HD had a really messy development. According to a dev, he told me they only had access to a beta build of the game with missing assets here and there, they had to redo part of the development of the 2005 original by fixing hundreds of bugs.
The visual effects did suffer from this.
As a side effect, oob of Lutecia someone found a beta scrapped level that wasn't at all in the original
The beta build was old enough to predate that asset's removal.

A wiki is construction about all games, on wiki fandom I think. You check it out whenever, all the trivia will end up here eventually, instead of me blathering about
my lutris/wine allowed me to limit fps, and it really hurts my eyes a little. set it to 30 and 60. that method doesnt seem to have an effect on the audio tho
