And just a little information to precise : I thought since the beginning that dashing was faster but no one agreed with me. I didn't do any testing since I saw (I think it's) ReDxc streaming and saying that he felt dashing was faster... So it's a bit thanks to him that I started to make those measures... ^^

Don't expect to save time with this in your runs until you have some experience with it. (And even then, it's not guaranteed x) )

On flat ground dashing was way slower than running for me, but maybe it could be faster on slopes or when you use an controller? 🤔

somehow I think it is faster going uphill (or sometimes downhill) or around corners

I think that it's because you were clicking dash button too often, and that's why you were slower compared to normal walking

As Baku mentioned, and as I said in my novel, you don't have to mash that much cause you loose your momentum. If you don't mash, your dash will cover a little more distance.

And yeah, I didn't mentioned it but I think when you dash a little before the top of a "hill", you can dash over a decent distance too
