This definitly is a horrible Egypt :/
tbh I'm not really certain the autosplitter works that well. Because for some reasons I was 10 seconds faster than I'm usually am in every single split. Even when I actually lost about 40 seconds, the times say "You lost about 30 seconds"
The splitter is 100% accurate
We only had problems with the loadless timer not pausing everytime due to a LiveSplit implementation error
it got fixed with the patch I published this evening
And even then you would have gained time instead of saving it^^
Could be some comparison thing btw. What are you comparing against? And make sure to clean up your sum of best if you fiddled around with your splits
there‘s a button for that in your splits overlay
Oh and before I forget: Go through your layout tabs and make sure that ALL the comparison settings are set to „current timing method“. If you‘re done with that, you can just right-click on your splits and choose the timing method you‘d like (most likely game-time)
I had numerous bugs with the times in LiveSplit before because of some faulty settings in my layout
How to loose 24000 frames of TAS: some random press of a button that shouldn't have happened has slid into the playback and I wonder if there's a way to remove that imput from that frame without erasing all the future timeline.
Sooo, now Dolphin can read again correctly my work from the beginning but stops right at the last time I worked on it, adding 24000 frames
oh boy... that‘s unlucky as hell :/
Pardon my ignorance but, what's TAS?
In this case marty plays the game at 30% speed which allows him to be much more precise. You can also just segment the run and redo certain parts till perfection
Most of the TAS games are fully run by a predefined sequence of inputs and movements that have been recorded and edited beforehand
You just need to check out TASBot on YouTube. They feature a lot of the craziest speedruns ever done.
The idea behind a TAS is that it should technically be the fastest way POSSIBLE without any minor or major mistakes (which would occur during a normal speedrun)
or even the TASvideos site where there are more TASes even mine xD
