my suggestion is to a bit simplify the terminology of the editor
to make it plausable for use of wider amount of people
we already had here a moment when a guy from russian community was bombarding and raping Spork with constant questions
so i dunno it kinda speaks in a way for itself
either way i will gladly help you out to make it more user friendly cause i am interested in it quite a lot
That russian guy also didn't know English and had to use translation, and honestly I have no idea how I would approach that. And I don't feel like translating the editor to Russian or any other language, that is too much out of scope.
dont translate anything lol
all i am saying is dont rape a user with way to many smart words
I think it's wrong to expect to be able to open up any program and use it flawlessly without learning the ropes beforehand, no matter how much you try to simplify the editor it will not simplify the game mechanics themselves which means that unfortunately some amount of studying is needed to use the tools
of course you will study it
but god simplify it in some ways that it wont make you run around and for hours figure out piles of functions
editor needs to be a bit more compact in that sense
have decent visuals which will help to navigate
I guess I do get a bit what you mean
I don't think terminology is an issue though, I just need to define it somewhere in some documentation and user will have to learn it
