You can always position the windows where you want
adrientd
You can even merge windows to make a panel with tabs
mr.rubinshtein
yeah but i meant like collapse some things
mr.rubinshtein
or merge them together
mr.rubinshtein
either way send me for now all descriptions on main tabs
mr.rubinshtein

Now I'm back!

So I said that we could need some icons for the toolbar.
adrientd
Each icon corresponds to a window, and the windows available in the editor are:
adrientd
So: **Main** is the initial window, for loading/saving the level, manipulate the camera and configure the view **Scene graph** lets you see the Scene Graph, and manipulate the Scene Nodes **Beacons**: Manage the beacons, used for bonuses, crates, respawn points, merchant, ... **Ground**: Manage the ground geometry for the collision **Textures**: Manage the textures used by the models in this level **Clones**: Show the geometries that are clones, reused by multiple nodes (bonuses, enemies, etc.) **Sounds**: Manage the sounds **Hooks**: The behaviour of attached to Scene Nodes **Squads**: the enemies **Events**: for scripting **Detectors**: the shapes that trigger when A/O pass through **Pathfinding**: Setup pathfinding **Marker**: Place points in the level for scripting purposes (like teleport character there, Roman spawning, ...) **Cinematic**: Cutscenes (incomplete, so can be hidden) **Collision**: check collision between shape nodes (cannot edit, more of a debug feature, so can be hidden) **Lines**: Edit lines **Localization**: Modify language text + font **Objects**: List of all objects **Misc**: other stuff
pegperegogaucho
Objects can be hidden as well
pegperegogaucho
And maybe it would be possible to merge the clone and scene graph window?
pegperegogaucho
like a "Geometry" Window
adrientd
Objects might still be useful if you want to insert an object reference to things such as the Asterix Game Manager by using drag drop, instead of having to scroll way down in the combobox of the objref.
adrientd
But it's probably the only use case, and alternatives would be better.
