I think the last time I looked into RW related stuff for XXL was to create waterfalls, which need some special PLG to get the UV anim working. Unfortunately it's not possible to import .dffs with these PLGs currently, the editor crashes, so I had to do everything by hand as usual :Obelul:

Yes, at least for the water stuff that as well and I believe the uv anim is just the MatFX

It's a combination of vertex colors, the texture colors (+ the highlight texture) and I believe some color in the material itself

Material color is not used for modulation.
