You said that you know how the audio files work for XXL1, what exactly do you know?

Well they're standard renderware audio banks

So essentially I know about them enough to know that at least porting them to other ports _aside from XXL2 on PSP_ won't be much of an issue

Yeah, XXL 1 to OG all use the same audio system, so you could just replace the files :PogClappa:

I was already able to import music and play it in-game, but I still need to look into the dubs as they are different from the music files. They take advantage of sub streams and also seem to have padding after audio chunks, hence a lower bitrate

I think they used streams and segments to just have a better organization in the files. I have another RenderWare game that uses .rws and oh boy

Well I guess there are multiple reasons for sub streams

But in XXL it used for entire dialogues, so for example the final cutscene with Cesar would be one stream, which has the separate dialogues divided into sub streams
