Just HAVING your own website can be a pain
I remember the days when I thought it was free
I do plan to eventually create my own -- most likely using Elixir + Phoenix or F# + ASP.NET + Giraffe -- just so I can host all of my crud in one space, but I'm not looking forward to the front-end nor to the hosting
I don't really have the programming skills to make one anyway
What kind of stuff do you do?
pro gamer tip: NEVER use crud like Wix, Squarespace or any other visual "website builder"
what about source forge

I've developed a mindset that makes me think of Minecraft mods whenever I see the word "Forge"
I'm not proud of it
I don't even have Minecraft!
I'm a relative novice / amateur programmer (though college, which starts for me on 19 September, will finally let me acquire the skill I yearn for), but I'm mainly interested in gamedev, modding, ROM hacking, homebrew, desktop apps, mobile apps, systems programming, and to a lesser extent, back-end programming and server-side scripting. I'm not really into front-end webdev, AI, ML, data science, statistical programming, robotics, microcontrollers, databases, algorithms or enterprise software.
Wow, that's pretty impressive
I wish I could be more impressive with my current coding achievements, but the good thing is that college will finally let me make that leap forwards
I've tried out programming a while back, I still remember my proudest achievement, "Hello World"
Same but i used to be a minecraft mod dev
Yes, one of my family members swears only by college
So it will stick forever 🥺
