alatinn
I prefer manipulating sidekicks for that ^^ cause most of the time, you'll lose half of your shields per turtoise
pegperegogaucho
squared triple turtoises = Pyramid formations :KEKW:
alatinn
That's true ^^ forgot the name
alatinn
When you think about it. The top of the pyramid is not natural.
alatinn
Imagine a new type of enemy only composed of the top step of a pyramid formation x)
alatinn
A single guy covered with 5 shields x)

I have not completed UXXL without skips... As a side quest... here we go!
pegperegogaucho
Oh, why do you need to always skip? You're missing out... All the effort I put in to make a whole mod and people just skip half the stuff!
schmeling65
half? they skip 95% :Obelul:
hesopesomeso
It's too captivating, and way too easy. If you make it unexploitable, I'll very gladly finish it "without skips".
pegperegogaucho
Bad excuse
hesopesomeso
There was no tutorial, nothing, surely you cannot say it is the "right" way to play it :Obelul:
pegperegogaucho
Why would there be a tutorial? :Obelul: It's intended for people that played XXL before. I hope no one tried out UXXL before trying the original, they would be losing their mind :Pauselix: I've never asked anyone before, but I think everything in UXXL and maybe even CC is pretty obvious if you pay a bit of attention. Sometimes I notice people might try out the wrong methods (like punching the ghost Roman :KEKW: ) but eventually they just figure it out on their own. Figuring something out yourself is, imo, better than having a tutorial because you feel smarter 🤓
pegperegogaucho
I believe the main reason people skip is out of spite... like "An eye for an eye" so they try to cheat the game because they think it cheats them or something
pegperegogaucho
I'm someone who tries to play through everything the intended way so I don't miss out. But if I ever encounter something incredibly difficult, boring at the same time, I probably will just quit. So maybe the skips in the mod might be a good thing for some people, who would otherwise just give up and quit...
pegperegogaucho
Very deep philosophical question :Obelul:
schmeling65
same
hesopesomeso
I use skips because they are there: making things easier and faster, often the skips themselves are too much fun.
pegperegogaucho
In other games I've seen a "skip mission" button if you keep on failing. You can't really easily do that in XXL, so I guess the skip is the counterpart to that :Obelul:
schmeling65
Do I have to rage you through it the normal way again just as we did it with CC? xD
