This is an pretty decent advantage compared to Asterix, on top of being a qol. Tho you need to be quite close to the hitbox to be able to do that.

Wait what you can actually destroy the door without crossing the trigger that spawns the enemies lmao

Obelix's range is just long enough for that somehow

You can even do medium hits on it (as Obelix) But the game doesn't progress even if you do that. The pirate captain stays in the cabin Crossing the enemy spawn trigger, you then need to defeat two waves before the game advances So it's sadly useless I tried to see if you could double-hit the door with Obelix. But you can't be close enough for it

Apparently these enemies are immortal to light punches. I've dealt what feels like 25 and it's still healthy I've never seen that kind of behavior before lmfao. They only go down with medium and heavy punches.

Oh, that's interesting. Their sprite when light punched is them seemingly not flinching.

But with medium hits, they start not being able to handle it. The eye graphic and bent back shows that. And a heavy/air punch throws them in the air

I'm not sure if that says anything. But that's quite a nifty gameplay quirk... that goes completely unnoticed if you don't hold jump to win

With Obelix it's possible to double hit this grass wall with a single air punch, but it doesn't always want to work.

You can do the double-hit once, then it doesn't want to happen again. But I found that if you punch in the wind first, then it works again
