Yeah, if the code checks for OOB before switching, and is the only code for that, then yeah can't do much except modifying the code to remove the check.

If I'm not wrong the only instance where a force switch happens is when Asterix reaches the end of the telepher. Not sure if there are others that can happen (without cheats).

And I wonder if there is an event number to send to the GrpHero or whatever that switches the characters, like in XXL1, but unsure if something like that would have been used.
