if all HUD elements are shown at once, it shows that few are aligned, and most are wasting space

i think, it was the remaster that opened my eyes to the fact that Shields looked wrong and the remaster shows correct sizes even tho it's 2D.

i recently found out that the texture for mettler numbers did also suffer from bad alpha pixel colors. Fixing it made me realise upscaling that may not even be necessary.

My only significant project besides restoring Rome was this. When we found out we could duplicate languages to give them more options, i decided to try giving the players all the combinations they want. Any controller, any font from GC/PS2, in 3x resolution. It's been years tho... i'll be back to it when my freetime allows it.

this is my textures for the OG, the remaster doesn't need any text upscaling after all ( and besides, modern games don't do bitmap fonts ).

there were two distinct styles between PS2 and GC/PC

my goal was to accurately upscale both, and remove the useless green grid for PC, as all it did was become visible on text when you had anti-aliasing!

It also opened the way for us to support more languages.

Did you know that the PC version works today thanks to the Polish localisation from 2008?

They not only modified the executable in a way to ensure it worked on 64-bit OS, but also prevented Anti-viruses from detecting anything foul, like our best efforts from 2016 to like, 2020

I think CD Projekt did it? Don't quote me on it, but they did a very solid job modding the game to turn the file for French into Polish, adding their own required letters to the textures, voice acting, you name it.
