Touch grass. Oh, you mean for xxl2? Best is to use the fov patch dll. It will fix the fov issues (for 16:9).

unless there are strong reasons against playing in fullscreen mode, I'd recommend using the fullscreen gamemodule with the widescreen patch

I did this at the beginning because I prefer to play in full screen rather than in a window, but one thing made me change my mind. That thing was broken or missing V-Sync. There was visible frame tearing on the screen, and even though the game had 90 FPS, it felt like it had 40.
