pegperegogaucho
there is a search bar
mr.rubinshtein
still dont understand the point in doing so many roundabouts
mr.rubinshtein
makes no sense
mr.rubinshtein
why not make it simple and quick working
mr.rubinshtein
look here practically you can just combine texture tab with the window the model is tied to
pegperegogaucho
you only need to open the texture window (if not already open), search the texture name and then you can easily export it :FrogThinking:
mr.rubinshtein
just look at my viewport its saturated with windows
mr.rubinshtein
:WAAHHH:
mr.rubinshtein
just look at it from logical way why would you even need general texture tab? you anyways will always click on object and export specific model and textures and never in theory need all textures at once
pegperegogaucho
you do if you want to export the level geometry
pegperegogaucho
since that has like 40 textures
mr.rubinshtein
for that you can just create one specific button which you can place somewhere else
mr.rubinshtein
because now it seems that the only role of texture tab is just to export entire level geometry
mr.rubinshtein
which again 98% of the time no one needs
mr.rubinshtein
:hurts:
mr.rubinshtein
let me just real quick roughly sketch it out how i imagine it
adrientd
There are use cases where a Texture window could actually be better
adrientd
Note that textures can be shared between models
adrientd
So if you want for example change a texture and apply it to every model using it, just find the texture -> export -> modify -> import
adrientd
and you don't even have to look up the models using it
