good news indeed

Can't you open an ImGui window in a new "windows" window using the docking branch? :PauseChamp:
pegperegogaucho
like a new window specifically for a imgui window
adrientd
Ah yeah, ImGui has support for that.
adrientd
But I have no plan for doing that yet.
pegperegogaucho
Any specific feature you want to make use of?
adrientd
Not anything important, but some worth to mention: - Tables, which are nice alternatives over Columns
adrientd
- Begin/EndDisabled allows to show controls in a disabled state (so you can't click but you know it exists)
pegperegogaucho
What I'm kind of missing right now is a nice way to rotate something specifically by 90 degrees as ImGuizmo tends to either rotate too much or not enough for exactly 90 degrees
adrientd
Just did a quick check, it seems that ImGuizmo::Manipulate has some snap arguments: ```snap points to a float[3] for translation and to a single float for scale or rotation. Snap angle is in Euler Degrees.```
adrientd
So maybe I can say do a snap angle of 1 degree so it will always be an integer degree.
pegperegogaucho
Sounds good!
pegperegogaucho
but maybe an angle of 45 would be better
adrientd
Maybe I can apply the snap only when holding a key (in addition to CTRL).
pegperegogaucho
Good idea!
pegperegogaucho
Another good idea would be to switch between local and global translation
pegperegogaucho
I think it's set to global right now, but maybe you want to move along the forward vector or scale
adrientd
I don't see much use of that right now. You rarely need to move individual nodes of a grouped node, and the editor even prevents you from selecting them (it always selects its parent that is direct subordinate of the sector root).
adrientd
and even if you want to move along the forward vector of an object, there is the XZ plane, and I don't really see any reason why you want to be very precise.
