lol you mean nobody ever inspected the ps2 version?
it must have something left from the devs since the game was designed and released for the PS2 first
feels like it could play in that cable car sector with both asterix and obelix have to press those two ground buttons simultanously
lol just noticed I lost that Active Member role here even though I used to have it
It's because you left the server some time ago and rejoined, anyways you have it again now!
Thanks!! Surely that is cause I remember one day I left all servers in Discord just to reorganize stuff from zero and rejoined only servers that interests me.
I'm glad you rejoined this one then! :)
when i export the ground model, the output is only a obj with no uv?
is there a way to export scenary files as a dff with uv?
I think it depends on the game/version, but you can export CNode objects as dff files
ah i export it from alice in wonderland, and btw what is CNode objects?
Ah yea. I'm working a lot on Alice, I've exported stuff from it before, though the editor does currently have issues when importing dff
CNode's are like the basic or most generic objects that can be spawned into levels. There are other types of objects like CAnimatedCharacter (NPC's generally) which inherit from CNode's and can be exported aswell
oh yes like chess and candles and those ornaments right? and it seems that they all have materials and uvs on it, i only know i need to both export the textures series and export the objects as dff, and need to manually match the textures to them, however, the ground, the walls, the entire structures can't be exported as dff or fbx or something with uv and materials right?
I'm not entirely sure tbh, that would be a question for
@adrientd (main editor developer)
I've only exported singular objects before (to dff format), and to do that you need to open the Scene Graph menu, select the object you want to export, then click Export
ah yes that's what i mean what i exported the little stuff, and, seems uv and textures only works for these CNode, and doesn't work for the entire building >n<
i remember when i pulled the dff into blender, i did have to manually select the correct textures, which i had exported prior separately, but the texture did map over the object fine once it had been selected
@adrientdhey there sir, are you gonna do editor updates for alice? and, is there a way to export the ground and wall as dff like other small stuff in the scene?
I'm also kinda working on the editor, specifically for Alice stuff aswell, but Adrien knows both the editor code and the game's file formats far better than I do xD
ahhhh that's awesome! hope you make alice work perfectly soon☺️
I believe there is a confusion here
