Yes, when exporting, do you export only the selected?
rat_min
yup ! the DFF i sent you is the one i tried to put it, and i only select the new mesh and put the only selected checkbox too
pegperegogaucho
The model you uploaded was missing the armature
pegperegogaucho
So the exporter did not export the armature but that is required
pegperegogaucho
here you can see the difference
rat_min
so the .dff here is the one i sent, and that you opened trought blender yeah ?
rat_min
mhm, let me try to export it again, i must doing something wrong
pegperegogaucho
So 2.DFF is the correct export of mine and the "Lil....dff" is yours, notice the missing armature in your model?
rat_min
yeah indeed i see it. there is a step i must have done wrong.
pegperegogaucho
It could be that the exporter did not include the armature in your export because it was not selected. A good way of finding out the issue is to simply reimport it into blender and make sure that the export has everything you want it to :)
pegperegogaucho
Try selecting the whole hierarchy and exporting again!
rat_min
yeah god, thats so obvious, i don't know what i was thinking
rat_min
i must have missunderstood the wiki guide.
when it said " only the new character model "
i assumed it was only the mesh
rat_min
uuuuuuuuuurgh
well on the bridgt side that got me to figure out the name/image texture system of the clones window
rat_min
sorry for the bother !
pegperegogaucho
Your goal is to replace Asterix?
pegperegogaucho
Because he is not a clone so you don't even need to mess around with the clones window
rat_min
nah that was just to test the lil blocky guy and get used to how i can import models .
