but so far its really good that new horizon is opening in terms of modding like making custom levels e.t.c.
the thing is, is that most of the lighting in the game was done either by hand or by proprietary software, so even if we had access to it, all of the hand painted stuff would get lost
but automatic lighting to vertex colors is possible
i used it for the video in #xxl for example
and it looks kind of shit
well i guess it wont be possible to import custom made stuff unless there is different way to bake models so they get imported in editor blended in
well you could always hand paint the vertex coloring
i did it last time but it seems that something didnt go right
models were blending out a lot
i dont know how to explain it
it just didnt work as it should
it always worked fine for me
it darkens or whitens extremely the model texture and makes it look weird
maybe i am doing something wrong
ahh yeah you need to change the ambient color in the material settings
