overfloyd
And with the remaining levels?
overfloyd
Do they reuse code I'm guessing
hesopesomeso
Those just need specific classes like sliding, boss, tower, etc.
hesopesomeso
Right now there's still a lot of things missing (not rewritten yet)...
schmeling65
ah, ye that makes sense now. I haven't seen any spectactular in the video but with the camera adjusting itself is definetly new and nice. Of course I can only tell if it's good or bad depending on my playstayle :Obelul:
hesopesomeso
This is nothing new, it's from the original.
pegperegogaucho
Nice work! Looks just like the original 👏
pegperegogaucho
Something that I am curious about, if you have already implemented the camera service: in the Camera service there is a huge list of values, what are those for?
hesopesomeso
Those values are used to control the position/at camera delay. Each camera keeps indices for it.
pegperegogaucho
Can you elaborate?
hesopesomeso
Each CKCamera has a flag that can turn on the position/at delay (just think of it a slow down, say you move asterix, and the camera position/at takes a bit to catch up). These values (in the camera service) are used to control how the delay will slow it down.
pegperegogaucho
Makes sense 👍 Normally the cameras seem to be always pretty fast to turn to the look at, maybe a slower chase cam could bring some more life to the game?
hesopesomeso
You can make it do romaster mode :KEKW:

hesopesomeso
I've only seen this on the classic track camera (most of the srv camera flags are ONLY for classic track), so any other camera only uses one of the classic interpolation functions.
hesopesomeso
It would be really cool to see this on a different camera other than classic track :Obelul:
pegperegogaucho
Woah, that's just awkward
pegperegogaucho
the delay seems to be too high
hesopesomeso
that's romaster mode for ya
hesopesomeso
But maybe I'm mistaken and the game uses it elsewhere? :FrogThinking:
pegperegogaucho
So in the video the camera takes quite a bit to look at Asterix when he jumps, but when he moves sideways it catches up pretty fast, what is up with that? :pepegeHmm:
