adrientd
well on Blender glTF works well as far as I can tell
adrientd
only trouble I still have is the bones not being set correctly but you can clear the pose and everything becomes normal
mr.rubinshtein
yeah but you cant convert gltf into something suitable
mr.rubinshtein
that it works properly
mr.rubinshtein
i was trying to export gltf file into dae and dff yesterday for few hours with textures and didnt have any success with it
adrientd
if you had issues with textures, maybe the names change during conversion 🤷
mr.rubinshtein
what do you mean?
mr.rubinshtein
oh wait i see what you mean
mr.rubinshtein
i imported gltf in blender and textures were there
mr.rubinshtein
then i converted it into dff and imported into maya
mr.rubinshtein
i only got material balls but not textures
mr.rubinshtein
and its so fucking annoying when i searched on google about how to export dae or dff with textures there was like few articles and thats it
mr.rubinshtein
:aPES_MadTyper:
adrientd
Note that glTF has textures integrated in the same file, however dff doesn't support that
adrientd
you will also have to export every texture individually and import them in the XXL Editor's Texture editor
mr.rubinshtein
well the thing is that Spork needed dff format to export it back into editor
mr.rubinshtein
he needed to do some renders in blender
mr.rubinshtein
but cause of the file format we couldnt do much
pegperegogaucho
No I wanted to do in the editor
pegperegogaucho
But when you export that gltf in dff or .dae it always says "No Texture" for every material once you import it back into the editor
