When I configured linux, most stuff you had to explicitly enable (or install, some distributions for example don't even come with a bluetooth implementation) while for windows everything is on by default and you have to waste so much time disabling and removing it. Office365, Widgets, Telementry, Windows "hello" (Hello!!!I
That's true. I think with winutil you actually can do all of that. It is like a baseprogram that can do everything for you, if you want to do/have it.
Windows sets everything up, and with that you put everything done again xD
Yeah, it's great, you can choose anything you want. Above all, you can implement it yourself if you wish so.
It seems that linux is also less resource intensive
someone told me that with winutil he went from like 140 processes down to 60
A recent problem I had on windows was that a "Windows compatability telemetry" process was using like 16% of my cpu (so fully using one core) for no apparent reason, and to disable it you had to edit the registry + disable some service
However, with linux it is also hit and miss... you can for example install a desktop environment that is just straight up hot garbage and it will ruin your experience
Oh man

...
nope, can't deny that. 98-99% no usage, 1% javaw.exe, sometimes 1% discord, sometimes some other 1% stuff that comes up; but nothing overusing anything at me.
taskbar btw

True, but that wouldn't be "linux" that's hot garbo, but the distro (or the environment). One drawback is there's way too many specifications things like window managers, so making apps can be a TOTAL pain.
How can you be sure though? Windows can be eating a huge cake in the background and you wouldn't know.
Having it built by a local builder with years of knowledge has its advantages ^^
*might have choosen the most stupid one xD*
