| yarnfang | Tis a good reference :3 |
| Stinkek | Hey @AdrienTD , I decided to try the latest version of the XXL Editor you posted here. I can load most levels in OG just fine, but if I try to open level 11 (I think that's where the minigames are?), the editor crashes. |
| AdrienTD | Well I guess I forgot to fix that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |
| Stinkek | Decided to try replacing textures in level 7 (Brutus battle). No matter the image format (PNG, GIF) and resolution (128x128 or bigger), whenever I try to save the level file I get this error. Every option leads to crash. |
| Stinkek | Nothing urgent, I just made a long overdue change for the furry Pogchamps and wanted to see it in action |
| AdrienTD | This happens because it could not open the file (incorrect path, no write access, ...) |
| Stinkek | Okay, I made another project file, put it in the game's folder (previous one was on a different drive entirely, maybe I shouldn't have done that), set up the path to the .elb file, replaced 1 texture, Test seems to work... I'll look more into this |
| AdrienTD | Yes, be sure that there is write access to the game folder |
| AdrienTD | I've just fixed the loading crash for level 11 |
| AdrienTD | also did a test for saving on level 7 and it works for me |
| Stinkek | Ah, the saving didn't work for me first because the project file was outside the game's folder |
| AdrienTD | Or maybe it could be that the output game folder was empty, and maybe the editor failed because the ouput folder didn't have the LVL0** folders and didn't create them automatically |
| AdrienTD | But normally if you do an entire copy of the game's folder and set it as the ouput folder, it should also work |
