| GrandFather7 | My friend had the Homebrew Channel on his Wii several years ago and we used to play Asterix at the Olympic Games coop |
| GrandFather7 | So much fun! I think it is considered as the true XXL 3, am I right? |
| PegPeregoGaucho | id consider it as that |
| GrandFather7 | @PegPeregoGaucho can you tell me which game is better in order? |
| GrandFather7 | From worst to best |
| PegPeregoGaucho | objectively? |
| GrandFather7 | No from gameplay wise and.... maybe objectively but mostly gameplay wise! |
| PegPeregoGaucho | |
| PegPeregoGaucho | in my opinion, the original XXL2 had the best gameplay. OG has more refined gameplay elements but it only gets used maybe once in the whole game. And XXL 1 is pretty straight-forward and has basic puzzles and platforming segments that are extremely easy, even in the last Level. The combat gets progressively better tho. OG has by far the best fighting gameplay, but as mentioned earlier, theres only a few fights in this game and most you can just skip :/ XXL2 has more challenging puzzles, harder platforming and a better combat experience out of the 3 |
| GrandFather7 | Same for OG but would’ve preferred if there was more fights yeah |
| PegPeregoGaucho | The final fight is very entertaining 👌 |
| GrandFather7 | I looked at xxl 1 and I thought: Man the fighting mechanics looks more interesting than xxl 2! |
| GrandFather7 | Yeah that was the best part! |
| PegPeregoGaucho | |
| PegPeregoGaucho | i mean you can dash, hit and swing enemies and thats pretty much it |
| GrandFather7 | Haven’t played it so cant tell |
| PegPeregoGaucho | you should definitely try XXL1! |
| GrandFather7 | Alright |
| GrandFather7 | Soundtracks are good |
| GrandFather7 | Never thought of that from an asterix game!😂 |
