Martyste Tendertail | April Fools is over, here, so, I'll post that little thing I just began to work on. Sorry, not XXL. Altough, would someone have the patience to make about 50 sprites of Asterix, you could fit him in there too. File 2022-04-02_01-58-07.mp4 is currently not available:
Martyste Tendertail | More progress :p File 2022-04-02_18-29-43.mp4 is currently not available:
baku | You are making it in rpg maker right ?
baku | That looks really cool
Martyste Tendertail | Nope! I'm modding Final Fantasy VI
Martyste Tendertail | Pixel Remaster is on PC, all 6 first games, and can be all modded the same way. They were made on Unity engine, and some tools are already available to edit graphics, music, and text.
Mehdi | Out of context: how did you make the map 👀
Mehdi | And its collision
AdrienTD | In Blender, I made a grid of quads, then used the sculpting tools to form the terrain. After that I simplified the models number of vertices with some feature I can't recall the name. I textured it, and finally I gave dirty vertex colours. Then I export the model to DFF using DragonFF and import to the game using the latest version of the XXL Editor. And for collision again I export the same model to OBJ and import it to the XXL Editor as new grounds.
Mehdi | Well soo it's kind of easy to make new maps for XXL1..?
Mehdi | Only Blender is sufficient |
