| Failentin | wow. I must have completely missed that xD |
| Failentin | so in a valid run I have to go back to single player every time I move Asterix with the torch? |
| Noxus94 | Yup xD |
| Failentin | yikes ^^' |
| Noxus94 | but usually you only need to do that when he moves his direction.
What you WANT is that looks exactly straight forward towards the gate. Then you place Obelix behind him, so that Asterix's middle point and the set torch's middle point are exactly lined up. Then you just have to test with tiny steps towards Asterix where the pixels are to push him through |
| Noxus94 | as long as you don't get too close to him, Asterix shouldn't move his direction |
| Failentin | alright, thanks, gonna try that ^^ |
| Failentin | kinda awful to have such a precise trick within the last minutes of the run... x) |
| Noxus94 | that one there is actually exceptable. The one at the exit of the Atrium is a pure nightmare and only works once in a few hundred tries... |
| Failentin | don't even know which one that is |
| Failentin | i thought this was the only clip we used ^^' |
| Noxus94 | Once the water level is lowered there's this gate you can clip through.
It's not much faster, but getting it in two or three tries would theoretically save time |
| Noxus94 | but as I said, it's almost impossible for me... |
| Failentin | oof, I see, interesting |
| Failentin | but I think I'm gonna pass on that one xD |
| Failentin | it's funny how falling off a platform while carrying a torch often makes the game crash... |
| Noxus94 | it does? |
| Failentin | I thought this was Switch-exclusive, but now it happened to me twice on PC today |
| Failentin | yeah it just freezes mid-air sometimes |
| Noxus94 | never had that happen to me |
